ISO 9001 (short for ISO 9001:2015 - this is the latest version of the current ISO 9001 standard) is a Quality Management System standard developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization September 24, 2015.
This standard has the full name of ISO 9001:2015 - Quality management systems - Requirements. ISO 9001 sets forth requirements to be used as a framework for a Quality Management System. This standard is also used for the assessment and certification of conformity with the Quality Management System of an organization or enterprise.

ISO 9001:1987 Quality management - Model for quality assurance in design/development, production, installation and servicing ).
ISO 9001:1994 Vietnamese standard equivalent: TCVN ISO 9001:1996 Quality management - Model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and technical services (Quality systems - Model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing ).
ISO 9001:2000 Vietnamese standard equivalent: TCVN ISO 9001:2000 Quality management systems - Requirements.
ISO 9001:2008 Vietnamese standard equivalent: TCVN ISO 9001:2008 Quality management - Requirements. This is the current version of ISO 9001 (Quality management systems - Requirements).
ISO 9001:2015 Vietnamese standard equivalent: TCVN ISO 9001:2015 Quality management - Requirements. This is the latest version that will replace the current version of ISO 9001:2008 which expires in September 2018 (Quality managemeint systems - Requirements).
